The hotel was very close to the train station, making it very convenient. The rooms were small, but a pretty nice view. The bar on the top floor was nice, but they ran out of a lot of things.

The hot foods at breakfast were not kept warm enough. And maybe it is the French way to have room temperature pancakes but not Americans or Germans for sure. We prefer them hot. The front Desk associates were tops.

Paris is a wonderful city. So much to see and do. the history of the city is on display everywhere and you should plan your days carefully to ensure you see everything you want.
Previously we have used the metro to expedite getting from one place to another but this time we walked and saw lots of things we would otherwise have missed.
We did however use the metro 6 times during our stay and were targeted 3 times by pick pockets. Although we didn’t lose anything be very careful of groups of 4/5 children/ young adults as they block your way and isolate you and go about there work

This was already my third visit to Paris, so we tried to visit some places we didn't have the chance to go before. I really enjoyed going to Atelier des Lumieres for an immersive art experience so I would definetely recommend it. Also, I enjoyed spending a bit more time in the streets of Montmartre, right next to the Sacre Coeur, there are a lot of street artists displaying their work. Another activity that I really enjoyed was the visit to Giverny to Monet's house (and especially the gardens), well worth the 1 hour trip.
Lastly, we went to a small Bistro to have a bit of a taste of the French cuisine (Bistrot Instinct). The waiter was super friendly, treated us as regular customers and made the experience amazing. Lovely cuisine and superb wine.

So wonderful!
So wonderful! People are extra friendly and helpful during my stay. I don't know if this is because of Olympics is coming or the locals have changed their attitudes towards tourists overall. I did feel very welcomed this time, and the waiters even spoke English with my French friend just to make sure that I am included. :)

Paris is a wonderful city full of things to see and do.
Paris is a wonderful city full of things to see and do. Many diverse different neighbourhoods. We use the metro with no problem. We love to walk around the different sites and soak of the vibe. Not great at picking the right plat du jours however so did our own food gathering at local grocery stores. The Hop on Hop off bus is a great addition on a nice day!

Seeing the Louver, Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame is reason...
Seeing the Louver, Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame is reason enough to visit. In reality, to truly experience the Louver itself will take almost a week! Under the circumstances of our visit, with the Olympiad and a major state's leader visiting, transport was an issue. But under normal circumstances Paris is an easy town to travel through the subway is nice, and you may be able to use a car effectively to travel (but taxis, Uber, and tourist buses have their place). If you like to shop this is the place to go. You can easily spend days looking at the architecture, riding on the Seine, or hanging out at cafes. It is a very clean city (at least where we went), with large numbers of police and security in the tourist areas. If you speak little or no French it is no problem, there are plenty of people who speak enough English you can communicate easily. It is an expensive city to visit, but if you are there do not worry about the expense, enjoy the experience!
I booked last minute and arrived flustered from a personal crisis - the hotel is super cute, literally one of the best locations in Paris, and the front desk staff was the absolute sweetest. Windows that open are also a huge plus for me and my room was across a little walkway so that even if I could hear other people from the courtyard it felt super cozy while breezy at the same time. Updated details did not feel cheap or too 'tik tok' like they sometimes do, kept the classic Parisian feeling whilst being very clean and welcoming.
Hotel was beautifully presented and in such a good location. Montmarte is definitely the place to stay in Paris. The staff were really friendly and the rooms were such good value for money compared to other hotels in Paris. Really good bars, restaurants and cafes as soon as you walk out of the hotel. We managed to walk to most of the attractions but the metro is the best and cheapest way once you get sick of walking. Will definitely be coming back here on our next visit to Paris!
The hotel is situated in a very good location 3 minutes from ternes metro station,Charles de Gaulle–Étoile metro station,Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées. The staff was very nice and helpful with every need. The room was good, it had a large bed and a big shower. Overall I had a very good experience and felt that the price was relatively low (considering the fact that Paris is not a cheap place). When I come back to Paris I will definitely consider staying there again.
A beautiful hotel with amazing helpful staff who complimented our brilliant visit to Paris specifically mentioning Kevin and Aminda who were superb and couldn’t have given a better service for our first time in France as UK visitors.
Based in the middle of the city centre, easy for transport, has safe underground parking and very very close to the Eiffel Tower along with various restaurants.
Would 100% recommend the hotel to everyone!
You get what you pay for. There is no need to complain about the location since it is a very cheap hotel for Paris. The metro is near, just 8 minutes walk. The bedroom was nice, the same as in the photos. Bed was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also the room service was good, they cleaned and made our ned every day. There was enough space in the room since we jist had our backpacks. (tasty orange juice 😄)
The hostel is a fantastic budget option for Paris. While nothing is cheap or in the city the hostel is a more affordable option. I stayed in the female dorm which was clean at most times, but more importantly quiet and private. The dorms are very clean and built to have privacy and safety. One of my best hostel experiences while travelling not as a backpacker but as part of a city trip.
Great hotel to stay in the middle of Paris. metro is near and only mins to the Louvre and Eiffel tower! restaurants and popular shopping stores just walking in distance in under a minute! My room was amazing. the bed was soft and had complimentary champagne and was upgraded to the balcony street view. the staff were attentive and very kind. Made my first trip to France phenomenal.
I just loved L’oasis Montparnasse. The staff is incredibly kind, they speak fluent English so you have no communication problems. The place is really beautiful and clean and compared to other facilities in France is big . I loved it and I am absolute coming back. This hotel exceeded my expectations by far.
.
Very good location, near De Clichy square.
De Clichy and La Fourch metro stations are within walking distance to the hotel, with lots of supermarkets and restaurants.
The staff were specially nice and helpful.
Costing less than 70 per night, it was one of the cheapest in Paris during my visit.
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Bedford three nights to see the finish of the Tour de France. We loved staying at this hotel and found it to be elegant, very comfortable and clean, and the concierge service is extremely helpful. The location is outstanding for sightseeing and eating out in Paris!
In general, the hotel meet our needs. It was clean, staff were friendly and very helpful, breakfast was very good, the metro was nearby, and the quaint hotel restaurant allowed us to conveniently meet over dinner with our partners in France to discuss our program the following day.
Basically the only redeeming quality of this place was its location, a convenient 7-minute walk away from the Paris Convention Center where we were attending a conference. The breakfast was also decent for Paris/France standards.
Great location, clean, cheap (for city centre Paris) and nice friendly staff. If you're more interested in the location than the facilities then it's good for the non fussy traveller.
The bed was amazing, very comfortable. I loved the shower as well, you don’t have to hold anything during the bath (like others hotels in France). Very clean and organized.
this hotel is old and a bit rundown but so much cheaper than anything else in Paris, the staff are super nice and the rooms are cleaned every day. Would stay again.
A nice hotel at a fair price in a great location, right next to the Montparnasse train station and the M13 line. Great for Paris as well as travel around France.
Perfectly situated between Marais and the 11th. Large, clean rooms with balcony and all amenities. One of the best (cheap) hotels I ever stayed in in Paris.
